Ok.. I'm not a fan of sci-fi channel's movies. They are usually just "blow shit up" action flics in space or on an island. My guess is, sci-fi picked up the rights to this film post-production because it doesn't carry any of sci-fi's style and there is also a German version of the movie. About the movie- An epic tale set in northern europe during the end of the dragon era. This is a haunting love story. The two heathen lovers are divided by plotting neuvous christian royals. The story is based on Nordic legends of valkeries and the blacksmith/dragon slayer. I ran out and bought the soundtrack which has music from Blackmore's Night, Faune and other yummy groups. - Lily May , posted 11/24/06 |
