Mine’s the “Jolly Roger”…a cayenne-peppered, spicy-good espresso creation from locally-owned “Coffee Break” @ 5400 Troost Ave. Want more from your coffee house than great coffee, delicious lattes, amazing chai, friendly baristas, and a comfortable atmosphere? Well, get on out & show your love for the Break’s creative events: monthly open mic nights, car shows, fashion shows and the ‘marketplace’ where local artists meet & sell their creations. You can even support the community effort “Tulips on Troost” when you stop in. I'm working on getting a Hafla scheduled here sometime this Spring! Coffee Break is located just off the Plaza @ 54th St & Troost Ave, between Rockhurst & UMKC; plenty of parking (& addictive beverages) on site.
